McNichols Plaza Chiller Replacement

The aging central chilled water system
at McNichols Plaza was replaced and redesigned by GJAI to provide a
more functional, operator friendly and energy efficient air conditioning
system. Included in the design were a new centrifugal chiller, cooling
tower, chilled water and condenser pumps and a state of the art control
system.


Memorial Stadium Renovation

GJAI consulting engineers teamed with
The Palumbo Group to provide renovation services to the aging Memorial
Stadium. Renovations to the playing field, track, grand stands, locker
rooms, concession areas and press boxes will make Memorial Stadium one
of the premier outdoor stadiums in Northeast PA. The multiphase constructions
began in April 2003. Completion is scheduled for August 2004.
GJAI Consulting Engineers is providing
all electrical, HVAC and plumbing design services for the facility.
Included in the design is a new sports lighting system, audio system
and water heating system. GJAI also served as a consultant for the various
site utility designs.

West High Scranton High School
Technology Wiring Upgrade

This project at West Scranton High School
will provide a new technology infrastructure to serve the students and
faculty alike. Nine existing classrooms were renovated to provide new
computer laboratories expanding the schools technology classroom capacity
by over 500%.
GJAI Consulting engineers provided all
electrical, HVAC and Fire Suppression systems design as well as technology
consulting services.

Armstrong School No. 40 Boiler
Replacement

GJAI Consulting Engineers is providing
all mechanical and electrical systems design to replace the central
hot water heating system at Armstrong School No. 40. The design included
replacement of the existing boilers with new cast iron sectional boilers.
Capacity of the central system was increased to provide full system
redundancy so no educational time would be lost due to boiler repairs
for years to come. The project also included an upgrade to the automatic
temperature control system.
